We are pleased to announce a collaboration between Disease Biology, Genetics, and Socioecology (DBGS) and the Asia-Pacific Conference on Mosquito and Vector Control 2026 (AMV 2026).
AMV 2026 will be held during August 5–7, 2026, in Pattaya, Thailand, bringing together researchers, public health professionals, and vector control experts to exchange knowledge, present innovative research, and strengthen collaborations in mosquito and vector-borne disease control.
We are delighted to share that DBGS has been officially designated as a Collaborating Journal for AMV 2026.
DBGS (ISSN: 2982-3048) is a gold open-access journal that aims to bridge the gap between the biological sciences (particularly genetics) and environmental and social sciences. There has been a significant compartmentalization between these two causative components of human diseases, despite their frequent synergistic interactions in pathological processes. The journal encourages submissions that adopt a holistic approach, considering all components of pathological processes. The journal's motto is "neither biologism" (the idea that only biological aspects matter), "nor sociologism" (the idea that only sociological features are relevant). It is published biannually online by Scilight Press.
We sincerely invite scholars engaged in disease biology, genetics and socioecology to follow this conference and join in-depth exchanges. We welcome you to share research findings, exchange academic insights, and inspire innovative ideas with peers across the globe. Collectively, we aim to contribute professional wisdom and joint efforts to tackle key global challenges in related research fields.
