Aims & Scope

Aims:

The journal Cancer in the Ageing Host (CAH) is a gold open access peer-reviewed journal that aims to provide a platform for the publication and discussion of research focusing on the effects of ageing on carcinogenesis, host-tumour interactions and treatments. The journal will only consider studies focused on cancer in the context of ageing, or vice versa, but not cancer or ageing per se.

Studies should focus on the mutual interactions between ageing processes and cancer in humans or experimental models. Papers on basic, translational and clinical cancer research will be welcomed, with the aim of advancing our understanding of cancer in the ageing host and improving the treatment of older adults.

It is published quarterly online by Scilight Press.
