Aims
Public Health and Precision Medicine Reports (PHPMR) is an open access, peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary journal published quarterly online by Scilight Press. The journal is dedicated to the dissemination of high-quality research in public health and precision medicine, encouraging the development of interdisciplinary studies for more effective clinical and population-based approaches. It also aims to disseminate the latest advances related to genetics, epigenetics, social determinants of health and even emerging technologies that will be useful in informing public policy towards more personalized and effective interventions and reducing inequalities, while implementing population-based prevention and intervention strategies. Journal of PHPMR is published quarterly online by Scilight Press.
Scope
The journal welcomes original research articles, reviews, case reports, commentaries, editorials and outstanding studies on all aspects of public health, precision medicine and related areas for more effective clinical interventions. The journal particularly welcomes submissions in the following areas:
Public Health: research on risk factors identification, disease burden, preventive approaches, health promotion, epidemiological characteristics, population trends and psychosocial determinants, educational strategies for risk mitigation and effectiveness of medical interventions.
Precision medicine: studies on how cultural, social, demographic, genetic, environmental and behavioral characteristics can be effectively tailored in the implementation of preventive, therapeutic and monitoring approaches.
Health policy: studies addressing advances in the integration of precision medicine into public health systems for more effective and sustainable interventions.
Innovation: studies evaluating new tools, resources, intervention approaches with a clear contribution to public health and precision medicine.
Ethical challenges: studies with particular emphasis on ethical concerns related to clinical data privacy, confidentiality and other implications of implementing precision medicine to benefit different populations.
