Aims & Scope

Aims

Translational Leukemia Research and Therapy (TLRT) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal supporting translational research to improve leukemia biology and therapy. The Journal is in alignment with standards and principles of the European LeukemiaNet (ELN) focusing on original research which improves prognosis and promotes cure of leukemias. Cooperative research and international collaboration are encouraged. It is published quarterly online by Scilight Press.

Scope

The scope of TLRT echoes the mission of ELN, an international research network of excellence with the aim to cure leukemia by cooperative research supported by management recommendations of uniform common definitions and standards of care for each type of leukemia and interdisciplinary specialty.

The journal covers all major categories of leukemia and related hematologic disorders, including acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), acute myeloid leukemia (AML), chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN), and multiple myeloma (MM), as well as related precursor and overlapping conditions.

Research areas within scope include, but are not limited to:

clinical trials on leukemia; hematopoietic stem cell transplantation; cytogenetics and genomic profiling; next-generation sequencing (NGS); minimal residual disease (MRD) assessment; drug resistance mechanisms; novel therapeutic agents; epidemiology and biostatistics.
