We are pleased to announce that Bioresource Circularity & Carbon Neutrality (BCCN) will collaborate with the International Conference on Environmental Research and Innovation for Sustainable Engineering (EnRISE 2026). The conference is jointly organized by the Algal EcoTechnology & Sustainability (AETS) Group and STWUTEE Lab at IIT Indore. Prof. Mayur Shirish Jain, a member of the BCCN Editorial Board, serves as one of the conference organizers. Our Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Sonil Nanda, will deliver a keynote at the conference.

About the conference:

EnRISE 2026 brings together global scientists, engineers, policymakers, and industry professionals to translate advanced environmental research into actionable sustainable solutions. The conference spans six thematic tracks: River Health and Wetland Restoration; Wastewater Treatment & Resource Recovery; Solid Waste Management & Circular Economy; Emerging Contaminants; Environmental Policy, Governance & Sustainability; and Other Allied Areas in Sustainable Engineering. The program includes keynote addresses from leading scholars across Asia, Europe, and North America, alongside dedicated industry-policy sessions designed to bridge academic findings with real-world applications.

 

Call for Submissions from EnRISE 2026 Participants

BCCN invites extended manuscripts from EnRISE 2026 participants. Submission to this special issue is by invitation only.

Submission Start Date: 15 August 2026
Submission End Date: 15 January 2027

Selected extended versions of conference papers will be considered for publication in BCCN, following the journal's peer-review process.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • River health monitoring, wetland restoration, and water quality risk assessment
  • Advanced wastewater treatment, nutrient recovery, and water reuse
  • Solid waste classification, resource valorization, and circular material flows
  • Detection and remediation of emerging micro-pollutants
  • Climate policy, carbon footprint assessment, and net-zero pathways
  • Algal biotechnology, biochar, and bioresource‑based carbon sequestration
  • Life cycle assessment, AI‑driven data analysis, and geospatial environmental monitoring
