Aims & Scope
Unlike many traditional journals that strictly define their areas of interest and limit their scope, our journal embraces a boundary-free approach to science, recognizing the interconnectedness of various scientific disciplines in advancing human health and medicine. The human body and its physiology are a unique fusion of physics, chemistry, and mathematics, where these exact sciences are seamlessly integrated in a biological framework to enable the functioning of organs, tissues, and cells.
Therefore, we do not confine ourselves to any specific field of medicine or science. Instead, we welcome research from any scientific discipline that enhances our understanding of human physiology, biochemistry, and pathology. Manuscripts that offer novel insights into the workings of the human body—whether through hypotheses, experimental studies, reinterpretations of existing data, or innovative perspectives—are encouraged, provided they are well-founded, logical, and supported by significant experimental evidence.
Our broad scope prioritizes research that sheds light on human physiology and pathology. However, we do not support speculative ideas without sound experimental backing. We encourage authors to present new interpretations of existing data, challenging conventional wisdom and fostering the development of new diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
We aim to differentiate ourselves by blending traditional publishing with an openness to groundbreaking ideas. While we welcome conventional experimental studies, we also provide a platform for innovative, out-of-the-box thinking.
Manuscripts should have clear relevance to medicine, human health, and disease. We particularly encourage submissions on:
- New diagnostic methods, tests, and investigations
- Unique case reports and clinical trials that contribute to the understanding of diseases, cellular processes, or novel treatment approaches
In summary, we seek research that is new, unique, and novel—work that advances our understanding of human health and disease in meaningful ways.
Treatise on Theory and Practice of Medicine is published quarterly online by Scilight Press.
