Aim

Aquatic Ecosystems Health (AquaEH) aims to advance scientific understanding and practical solutions for safeguarding aquatic ecosystems and ensuring their long-term health, resilience, and sustainability. We publish high-quality, peer-reviewed research that addresses the effects of chemical, physical, and biological stressors on aquatic environments, spanning marine, freshwater, and transitional systems. It is published quarterly online by Scilight Press.

Scope

The journal's scope encompasses, but is not limited to, the following areas:

- Effects of chemical, physical, and biological stressors on aquatic ecosystem health and biodiversity.

- Climate change impacts on marine and freshwater systems, including warming, sea-level rise, and altered precipitation patterns.

- Safety implications of environmental stressors for aquatic organisms and human communities reliant on aquatic resources.

- Innovative approaches to monitoring, mitigating, and managing stressor impacts on aquatic ecosystems.

- Interactions between multiple stressors and their cumulative effects on ecosystem function and resilience.

- Policy, management, and technological solutions to enhance aquatic ecosystem safety and sustainability.

We welcome interdisciplinary submissions that bridge ecology, toxicology, climatology, hydrology, environmental policy, and related fields. Manuscripts should contribute novel insights, robust methodologies, or practical applications to safeguard aquatic ecosystems and ensure their long-term health and safety.
