Aims:

Semiconductor Materials and Devices (SMD) is a gold open-access, peer-reviewed international journal that aims to serve as a leading platform for the dissemination of high-quality, innovative research in all aspects of semiconductor science, engineering, and technology. The journal is dedicated to publishing high-quality, peer-reviewed articles that advance the fundamental understandings and practical applications of semiconductor materials and devices. SMD is published quarterly online by Scilight Press.

Scope:

The scope of Semiconductor Materials and Devices encompasses a broad spectrum of topics related to the study, development, and application of semiconductor materials and devices. The journal welcomes contributions that explore both established and emerging areas, including but not limited to:

  • Preparation and fabrication of advanced semiconductor materials and devices.
  • Structural and physical properties of semiconductor materials.
  • Surface/interface engineering in compound semiconductors, organic-inorganic composites and other advanced semiconductor materials.

  • Advanced device modeling and simulation techniques for semiconductor materials and devices.
  • Studies on device reliability, failure analysis, long-term performance and stability of semiconductor devices.
