Aims & Scope

Aims:

Applied Nonlinear Dynamics and Vibrations (ANDV) is an interdisciplinary journal in Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil, Automobile, and Control Engineering etc. with the purpose of reporting high-quality scientific advancements in related topics. ANDV is striving to publish research and development results which can make a demonstrable original contribution to engineering knowledge and should be significant in terms of advancement over established methods and results. A special focus is devoted to papers that include both theoretical and experimental aspects with exploring nonlinear dynamics and/or vibration systems for their modelling, identification, analysis, design and innovation applications in engineering systems. It is published quarterly online by Scilight Press.

Scope:

The scope of ANDV includes the following topics:

  • Computational methods for nonlinear dynamics
  • Nonlinear phenomena in engineering systems
  • Nonlinear system modelling
  • Nonlinear system identification
  • Nonlinear vibrations (and energy harvesting)
  • Non-stationary and random vibrations
  • Control of vibrations and noise
  • Material or structural nonlinear dynamics
  • Nonlinear control systems
  • Nonlinear signal processing
  • Design and application of nonlinear dynamics or vibrations
