Aims & Scope

Advanced Power Sources (APS) is an open access, peer-reviewed journal. It aims to be a premier platform for disseminating scientific, technological, and applied progress in the field of electrochemical power sources and facilitating a multidisciplinary dialogue among scientists, engineers, and practitioners in related fields. APS is published quarterly online by Scilight Press.

APS does not merely concentrate on electrode materials, electrolytes, and electrode reaction mechanisms related to electrochemical energy conversion and storage systems. It is also concerned with the engineering and technical issues involved in their major applications, such as electronics, electric vehicles, aerial vehicles, electric ships, robots, and energy storage, etc. These issues encompass battery management, safety, simulation, performance prediction, and diagnosis.

Topics of particular interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Next-Generation Batteries;
  • Fuel Cells & Electrolyzers;
  • Supercapacitors;
  • Energy Conversion & Storage Technologies (Solar/hydrogen/bioenergy/electrochemical energy);
