Article Processing Charge

All articles published in Bioinformatics Methods and Applications (BMA) are Gold Open Access: immediately freely available to read, download, unlimited use, and reuse of articles. All articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0). Article Processing Charges (APCs) are waived before May 2027. After that, an APC of 1000 AUD will be applied for each accepted manuscript. Local VAT or Sales Tax will be added if applicable. Editorial items (Editorials, Corrections, Additions, Retractions, Letters, Comments, Book Reviews, etc.) are published free of charge if accepted.

Appropriate consideration will be given for a waiver providing the paper has already met the scientific and editorial standards required for publication in BMA. For authors publishing in BMA, Scilight Press offers waivers and discounts to corresponding authors based in low- and lower middle-income countries and locations classified by the World Bank.
