Aims & Scope

Aim

Electromagnetic Wave Science and Technology (EWST) is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed international journal dedicated to advancing fundamental knowledge and technological innovations in electromagnetic wave science, with a particular focus on their transformative applications across diverse disciplines.

Electromagnetic Wave Science and Technology is published quarterly online by Scilight Press.

Scope

This journal covers experimental, theoretical, and computational studies at the forefront of electromagnetic wave science and its functional applications. Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

  • Electromagnetic wave absorption materials
  • Electromagnetic interference shielding materials
  • Design and synthesis of novel composite materials for electromagnetic wave management
  • Metamaterials and metasurfaces for electromagnetic wave manipulation
  • Nanostructured and microstructured materials for electromagnetic applications
  • Dielectric and magnetic material optimization
  • Theoretical modelling and computational simulations of electromagnetic wave interactions
  • Advanced processing and fabrication techniques
  • Environmental, thermal, and mechanical stability of electromagnetic functional materials
  • Applications in communications, aerospace, defence, and electronics

These will be selected based on their originality, significance, interdisciplinary interest, timeliness, and novel insights across various areas such as materials science, physics, chemistry, and engineering.

The journal also provides a forum for scientific debates, commentaries, and reviews of current and emerging trends in electromagnetic wave science, offering a platform for researchers to share comment papers, unverified ideas, and data notes within the journal’s scope.
