Aims
Health Informatics and Advanced Technologies (HIAT) is an international, peer-reviewed, gold open-access journal dedicated to advancing research at the intersection of health informatics, artificial intelligence, digital health, and emerging technologies. The journal aims to promote the development, evaluation, and application of innovative technologies that support healthcare delivery, clinical decision-making, health management, disease prevention, and patient-centered care.
HIAT welcomes high-quality original research, review articles, technical developments, and forum communications that address methodological advances as well as practical applications in health informatics and technology-enabled healthcare. The journal encourages interdisciplinary collaboration among researchers, healthcare professionals, engineers, computer scientists, data scientists, and other specialists to facilitate the translation of emerging technologies into reliable, effective, and accessible healthcare solutions.
The journal is dedicated to serving as a platform for research on intelligent, connected, data-driven, and technology-enabled healthcare systems. It is published quarterly online by Scilight Press.
Scope
HIAT covers a broad range of research in health informatics and advanced technologies for healthcare, with particular emphasis on the development, integration, evaluation, and application of intelligent and digital solutions.
