Aim
International Journal of Intelligent Systems and Automation (IJISA) is a peer-reviewed, open-access platform dedicated to advancing research and innovation at the intersection of artificial intelligence, automation, and intelligent control systems. The journal seeks to publish cutting-edge theoretical developments, novel methodologies, and impactful applications that address various challenges of industrial systems and to foster the exchange of knowledge among researchers, engineers, and practitioners across academia and industry.
Scope
IJISA covers a broad spectrum of topics that merge intelligence with automation technologies, emphasizing both foundational research and transformative applications. The contributions in, but not limited to, the following areas are welcome: Artificial Intelligence for Automation and Control, Autonomous Systems and Robotics, Production/factory Scheduling, Systems Control and Optimization, Industrial Automation and Smart Manufacturing, Cyber-Physical Systems and Internet of Things (IoT), Intelligent sensor networks and embedded systems, and Emerging Trends and Applications to Real Systems.
The journal particularly encourages interdisciplinary research bridging computer science, control engineering, artificial intelligence, mechanical systems, electronics, and applied mathematics. Papers that combine theoretical rigor with practical impact, propose novel methodologies/algorithms, or explore high-impact real-world applications are strongly encouraged. IJISA serves as a forum for advancing both the science and practice of intelligent systems and automation, inspiring innovation for the next generation of autonomous, adaptive, and collaborative technologies.
IJISA is published quarterly online by Scilight Press.
