Aims & Scope

Journal of Cancer, Inflammation and Metabolism aims to provide a multidisciplinary platform for cutting-edge research and clinical studies addressing the interplay between cancer biology, chronic inflammation, metabolic dysregulation, and emerging therapeutic approaches. The journal welcomes original research articles, reviews, case reports, and hypotheses that seek to deepen our understanding of the complex pathophysiology of cancer and related metabolic disorders. Journal of Cancer, Inflammation and Metabolism is published quarterly online by Scilight Press.

We particularly encourage submissions that explore:

  • The role of inflammation in cancer initiation, progression, and immune evasion;
  • The impact of metabolic reprogramming in tumor cells, including the Warburg effect and mitochondrial dysfunction;
  • The modulation of tumor microenvironments through nutritional, metabolic, or pH-targeted interventions;
  • Clinical and experimental investigations into integrative therapies, including alkalization therapy, which seeks to improve patient outcomes by modifying systemic and local pH environments to counteract tumor-promoting acidosis;
  • Science-based, patient-centered therapeutic strategies that bridge molecular oncology with lifestyle and metabolic interventions.

By fostering transdisciplinary dialogue, the journal aspires to contribute to a paradigm shift in cancer treatment.
