Aims:
Luminescence Horizon (LH) aims to publish topics in advanced luminescent materials and their applications. It will cover original research articles, reviews, perspectives, and short communications, highlighting the relationships between microstructures and properties of luminescent materials. It is anticipated to provide a forum for the publication of research on fundamental and applied aspects of all forms of luminescent materials. It is published quarterly online by Scilight Press.
Scope:
The journal publishes topics including but not limited to: the design, synthesis, and characterization of luminescent materials such as phosphors, glasses, ceramics, films, nanocrystals, quantum dots, fibers, organic emitters, and composite/hybrid systems, as well as their applications across various related fields such as optoelectronics (lighting, displays, lasers, optical communication, etc.), sensing/detection (imaging, environmental and chemical sensing, etc.), information technologies (security marking, optical data storage, anti-counterfeiting, communication, quantum computation, artificial neural networks, etc.) and energy conversion/harvesting (e.g., luminescent solar concentrators).
