Aims & Scope

Aims:

Large Language Model (LLM) is a gold open access, peer-reviewed international journal dedicated to publishing high-quality original research and reviews in the field of large language models (LLMs) and their applications. The journal aims to provide a premier venue for advancing both theoretical and empirical research in language modeling technologies, as well as innovative applications of LLMs across diverse disciplines. With a commitment to rigorous and efficient peer review, high editorial standards, and rapid publication, the journal seeks to support the timely dissemination of cutting-edge findings.

The journal LLM also aspires to serve as a testbed for novel publication paradigms tailored to the fast-evolving nature of LLM research. This includes leveraging AI-assisted tools to expedite the review process, incorporating multi-modal appendices to enhance articles, and offering customized article recommendations to readers. It is published quarterly online by Scilight Press.

Scope:

Topics for contributions to the journal include, but are not limited to:

  • Language model architectures and design
  • Computational efficiency, optimization, and scalability
  • LLM evaluation, interpretability, and analysis
  • LLM safety, alignment, and ethical considerations
  • Multi-linguality and cross-cultural adaptation
  • Multi-modality and fusion techniques in LLMs
  • Reasoning and reinforcement learning for LLMs
  • LLM-based agents and agentic systems
  • Applications of LLMs in computer vision, natural language processing, and embodied AI
