Published on 01 Sep 2025

We are thrilled to announce the recipients of the "Materials and Interfaces Outstanding Presentations by Young Investigators" awards, presented at the Symposium on Frontiers and Challenges in Nanoparticle-Mediated Chemical Transformations during the ACS Fall Meeting 2025. Sponsored by our journal Materials and Interfaces, these awards recognize the groundbreaking contributions of assistant professors, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students in the field of nanoparticle-mediated chemical transformations.

Awardees:

1. Madelyn Ball (Assistant Professor, Michigan State University)
2. Julian Feijóo (PhD student, University of California, Berkeley)
3. Kei Kwan Li (PhD student, Georgia Institute of Technology)

These awardees were selected based on the innovation and impact of their research, as well as their potential to significantly advance the field. The selection process was led by the symposium organizers, in collaboration with Prof. Younan Xia, Editor-in-Chief of Materials and Interfaces.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the winners and look forward to their continued leadership in scientific discovery. Their pioneering work exemplifies the cutting-edge advancements in nanoparticle-mediated transformations, and we are honored to support their achievements.

Best regards,
