Subsurface Energy Geoscience and Engineering (SEGE) is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing fundamental understanding and technological innovation related to energy resources and processes in the Earth’s subsurface. The journal provides a platform for interdisciplinary research that integrates geoscience, engineering, and data science to address the challenges of sustainable energy exploration, development, and storage. SEGE is published quarterly online by Scilight Press.
The journal aims to publish high-quality original research, reviews, and perspectives that bridge scales from pore to basin and connect fundamental processes with field-scale applications. Emphasis is placed on both conventional and emerging energy systems, as well as on solutions that support the global energy transition and carbon neutrality goals.
