Aims
Chemical Engineering Innovation is a new journal dedicated to publishing the most significant original research, perspectives, and reviews of direct relevance to the diverse community of chemical engineers. The journal addresses all facets of chemical engineering, from fundamental scientific advances in chemical, physical, and biological systems to the design, scale-up, and optimization of chemical processes that are important to society. The focus is on innovation aspects, including the creation and implementation of novel solutions and processes with improved sustainability, efficiency, and safety, as well as the development of new technologies and materials. Key areas of innovation include, but are not limited to I) sustainable chemical processes, ii) catalysis and new approaches in chemical engineering, iii) advanced engineering aspects of nano or functional materials, iv) digitalization and automation as well as AI, v) renewable energy technologies, and vi) biotechnology, all of which aim to address global challenges like climate change and enhance the quality of life. Chemical Engineering Innovation (CEI) is published quarterly online by Scilight Press.
