Aims & Scope

Intercultural Communication Studies (ICS), the journal of the International Association for Intercultural Communication Studies (IAICS), is committed to publishing quality research in the area of intercultural communication. All manuscripts submitted to the journal should include thorough research that brings something new and pertinent to the field of intercultural communication.

Since January 1, 2025, our journal has published articles using a Continuous Publication model. This means that accepted papers appear online with final citation details as soon as they are ready, rather than waiting for a scheduled issue. All articles are added to a single annual volume, updated throughout the year. Each has a unique DOI number and self-contained PDF pagination starting from page 1.

This change ensures faster publication, immediate indexing, and timely access for readers, while maintaining our rigorous peer review and open access policy.
