Aims & Scope

Aims

The International Journal of Neuromuscular Disorders (IJND) is a gold open access, peer-reviewed journal giving leading international coverage in drug discovery and experimental research in the neuromuscular area. IJND is at the forefront of disseminating and communicating scientific knowledge and impactful discoveries to academics, clinicians, pharmacists, allied healthcare professionals, and the public worldwide including the Patient's Association (MDA, EAMDA). The journal publishes rigorously peer-reviewed research including original research, authoritative reviews, systematic reviews, mini-reviews, commentary, and letters to the editor that are related to the discovery of new therapeutic targets, new drugs, or new therapeutic in neuromuscular disorders field modalities. IJND encourages submissions describing innovations in data science and clinical trial designs about broad disease domains. It is published quarterly online by Scilight Press.

Scope

IJND welcomes findings derived from the application of molecular biology, biochemistry, biophysics, physiology, pathology, genetics, applied biology, systems biology, and data science to address pharmacological problems that provide mechanistic insights and innovative approaches important for the fields of drug discovery and neuromuscular disorders. These drugs comprise a wide variety of agents, including small molecules and biologics.
