Aims
Advanced Corrosion Protection (ACP) aims to establish a premier international platform for disseminating transformative advances in corrosion protection. It seeks to bridge academic discovery and industrial application, accelerating the translation of innovative technologies into real-world solutions. By fostering global collaboration among researchers, engineers, and industry experts, the journal strives to address pressing corrosion issues in strategic sectors, promote sustainable material utilization, and advance the scientific understanding of corrosion mechanisms to enhance infrastructure safety and durability worldwide. It is published quarterly online by Scilight Press.
Scope
ACP focuses on publishing cutting-edge research and innovations in global materials corrosion and protection. The journal covers frontier studies in corrosion science for the new era, including advanced research methodologies, artificial intelligence applications, and state-of-the-art scientific instruments. It encompasses advanced detection/monitoring technologies and sensor development, as well as high-performance corrosion protection materials and novel protective methods. Special attention is given to corrosion challenges in extreme environments across critical fields: new energy systems (e.g., batteries, fuel cells, hydrogen production), crucial equipment (aerospace, marine engineering, human body, etc.), electrical appliances, and composite materials. Interdisciplinary research integrating materials science, electrochemistry, and data science is strongly encouraged.
