Aims & Scope
Aims
The integration of intelligence into building materials and infrastructure is an inevitable evolution in response to the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Intelligence in Building Materials (IBM) aims to provide a platform for sharing and disseminating new discoveries, achievements, and methods related to intelligence in the field of building materials. IBM welcomes original articles, comprehensive reviews, insightful features, and forward-looking perspectives on all aspects of the intelligence in building materials, focusing on the intelligent building materials, intelligent design and manufacturing of building materials, intelligent characterization and testing of building materials, as well as the engineering applications of building materials for developing intelligent infrastructures such as civil engineering, transportation, water conservancy, marine engineering, energy, underground, and extraterrestrial habitats. IBM seeks to bridge theoretical research and practical applications, fostering a multidisciplinary dialogue among scientists and engineers as well as designers in building materials and infrastructure.
Intelligence in Building Materials is published quarterly online by Scilight Press.
