The World Congress of Building Greening 2026 will take place on June 9–11, 2026, in Berlin, Germany. This three-day event covers all aspects of green buildings, including roof, façade, and interior greening, along with associated topics such as urban climate, rainwater management, sustainability, and the city of the future.
The Congress will feature distinguished speakers, including Prof. Mun Summ Wong (WOHA Architects, Singapore), Prof. Werner Sobek (Werner Sobek AG, Germany), Dr. Patrick Blanc (Vertical Garden “Mur Végétal”, France), Prof. Manfred Köhler (Germany), and many more.
Urban and Building Science (UBS), published by Scilight Press, is pleased to support the World Congress of Building Greening 2026 and its academic exchange activities. This engagement reflects UBS’s commitment to advancing research on sustainable urban systems, green infrastructure, and the built environment. Call for Posters:
Researchers are invited to submit scientific (non-promotional) poster contributions, with a particular focus on strategies for building greening and rainwater management. Posters may be submitted in English or German. The deadline for poster submissions is 28 February 2026.
