The National Fund for Social Science has made significant contributions to the prosperity of philosophy and the social sciences, as well as to consolidating Marxism's guiding position in the field of ideology and serving the overall work of the Party and the country. This research starts with the National Social Science Fund project and concludes with the fund project's output papers. From the perspective of visualization research, it further explores the research status, frontier, hot spot, and development trend of 23 subject fields funded by the National Social Science Fund from 2016 to 2022. It is critical for observing the panorama and positioning of research, as well as promoting the discipline's development. This study provides discipline guidance for National Social Science Fund applicants.
